Trick or Treat in time for Halloween

Just in time for Halloween this week here is a Mimi’s Bowl round up: including everything from fun food ideas, to decorations and dress up. I am so inspired by all the brilliant posts and ideas I have seen online. This year, it has also been great to see lots of healthy food ideas for kids. For me and my family it is all about balance and my daughter does have cake and ice cream from time to time. I want her to love and enjoy food and not feel deprived, I just don’t want sugar to be a weekly fixture. In today’s blog I have included a whole mix of recipes and ideas: some healthy “trick” ideas and some “treats”.

Halloween seems to have grown so much in popularity and if you have a child at nursery, or school, you have no doubt been pestered to join in. My little girl is dressing up and having a small Halloween tea at home. So if you are doing something similar here are some fun ideas to choose from.
